A big big thank you to our 8 London Marathon runners who between them managed to raise a fantastic £11,393 for our Siblings United service. It definitely wasn’t easy and there were injuries along the way but every Image may be NSFW.

Because of all their hard work and persistence we will be able to give even more children who are in care and separated from their brothers and sisters the chance to spend quality time together on holiday.
Every single one of the runners reported back after the race that hard as it was they’d had an amazing day and felt a huge sense of achievement crossing the finish line. They said that the tremendous crowd support pushed them through the most difficult points of the route. One month on a few of our runners have already signed up for further races – going as far afield a Warsaw to run another marathon.
We’re incredibly proud of them all here at SYP and wish each and everyone of them all the best for the future!
