On Friday 13th of March, three of our students from our Stoke on Trent service went bowling to raise money for comic relief. The students were sponsored a penny for every pin that they managed
to knocked down.
As part of their studies the students researched the charity ‘Comic Relief’ and the work that it did. They were really touched by the hardships that people all over the world face This encouraged them to do something to help.
Alongside putting their bowling skills to the test our young people also cooked batches of tasty cookies and sold them at break time to help raise the total money raised.
Overall they managed to raise over £100, a really tremendous achievement, that will go towards transforming the lives of people living in poverty in the UK and Africa.
