Shaftesbury Young People (SYP) is one of the UK’s oldest children’s Charites, dedicated to the education of, and assistance to, the most disadvantaged and excluded children and young people. We operate in several locations in the Midlands and London and we manage our own adventure education centre on the River Medway.
We now have an exciting opportunity available at our Bromley Head Office for a Administration Assistant to join our growing central support team.
The post of Administration Assistant offers a unique opportunity for the right individual to gain excellent all round business administration experience and obtain further vocational qualifications. This role will be supporting and assisting the HR Manager, Office Manager and Finance Manager in the running of our charity and the role will encompass tasks from each of these three areas. Candidates should be enthusiastic with excellent communication and numeracy skills, be keen to learn, able to take direction well and possess the drive to take ownership of assigned tasks and work independently. This is a full time development role that would suit a recent school/college leaver seeking a first position..
